Puffy, an AI coach for the moment the craving hits
Puffy is the AI coach built into Puff Zero. It is there for the gap between logging a puff and deciding what to do about a craving β you can talk to it at 2am when no one else is available. Puffy is a conversational AI, not a clinician: it does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and is not a substitute for medical care or a crisis service.
What Puffy is useful for
Riding out a craving in the few minutes it takes to pass. Cravings are time-limited, and having something to do during one is more useful than willpower in the abstract.
Talking through a situation that keeps causing relapse, and turning it into a concrete change to your plan.
Answering questions about your own logged data β what your pattern looks like, when your hardest hours are.
Being available at hours when a support line or a friend is not.
What Puffy is not
Puffy is not a doctor, therapist, pharmacist, or counsellor, and does not hold any clinical qualification. It cannot diagnose a condition, assess your health, or tell you whether a symptom is serious.
It does not prescribe or advise on nicotine-replacement therapy, medication, or dosing.
It is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line β Puffy will point you there too, but it should not be the thing you rely on in that moment.
Like all conversational AI, it can be confidently wrong. Treat what it says as a prompt to think, not as a fact to act on medically.
What Puffy can see
To be useful, Puffy needs context: your recent puff logs, your current limit and reduction plan, and the mood or trigger notes you have chosen to record.
Conversations are processed by a third-party AI provider in order to generate a response. What that means for your data, and which processors are involved, is set out in the privacy policy.
What Puff Zero doesn't do
- Puffy is not a licensed clinician and nothing it says is medical advice.
- AI responses can be inaccurate. Do not make a medical decision on the strength of one.
- Puffy is not an emergency or crisis service.
- Conversations are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate replies.
Frequently asked questions

- What data does Puffy use?
- Your recent puff logs, your current limit and plan, and any mood or trigger context you have recorded β so its replies relate to your actual habit rather than generic advice. See the privacy policy for how that data is handled.

- AI coaching is part of the premium feature set. Core puff tracking is free.
- What should I do if I'm in crisis?
